amazon ec2 - What effect does deleting EC2 snapshots have? -

i'm not sure effect deleting ec2 snapshot has on other ones. example, if snapshot ebs volume 4 times , delete oldest one, can still full restore latest ones? in other words, there benefit in keeping old snapshots other save incremental changes?

the benefit being able restore older snapshot. deleting 1 snapshot not effect of others. feel free rid of old ones. new ones still work.

background/context we developing event notification service . application @ high level looks below: our developene scope involves widget , ens.
